The Rooster is a passive income generator, so to speak, but only when you are in danger. While you are in Speranza, Scrappy is a lazy boy.

What does Scrappy do in ARC Raiders?
In ARC Raiders, Scrappy is an NPC rooster that passively collects crafting materials for you while you are raiding topside. Scrappy pecks around Speranza for assorted seeds, rubber parts, fabric, metal parts, plastic parts, and chemicals.
You need to spend at least 1 minute raiding to receive base materials. After 6 and 15 minutes, respectively, the amount of material increases. You must finish the raid and extract successfully for Scrappy to deliver the full haul.
Scrappy’s haul = time spent raiding (1→6→15 mins)

Upon your return, you can collect Scrappy’s haul at your workshop. Scrappy can hoard up to 50 units of each item.
