The new update introduces a limited-time event, invading drones, a hidden Experiment Vault, new rewards, and an Experiment Shop where you can spend Samples collected during the event.
There’s also a new secret to uncover.
Nibbles, AKA Experiment #013, has escaped from Dr. Scramble and is hiding somewhere on the map.
Finding his hideout leads you to the Stolen Experiment Vault and one of Update 5’s main challenges.

What’s new in Steal an Egg update 5?
The main additions in Steal an Egg update 5 include:
Dr. Scramble Event:
Dr. Scramble’s drones invade the map every 30 minutes.
Dr. Scramble’s Drones:
Defeat drones to earn Samples and collect Drone Parts.
Samples:
A new event currency used in Dr. Scramble’s Experiment Shop.
Nibbles/Experiment #013:
Find Nibbles’ secret hideout and uncover the Stolen Experiment Vault.
Stolen Experiment Vault:
Find all five missing Vault Parts to open it.
Scrambler:
A special weapon you can obtain from the Stolen Experiment Vault.
Scrambled mutation:
A new mutation consumable available from the Experiment Shop.
Experiment Eggs:
New limited eggs, including Experiment #001 and Nibbles #013.
Boosters:
Spend Samples on Cash, Speed, and Treadmill boosters.
Dr. Scramble event The Dr. Scramble Event takes place every 30 minutes, when Dr. Scramble’s drones invade the map.
Once the invasion begins, you’ll need to find and destroy the drones. Defeating them rewards you with Samples, the new event currency used in Dr. Scramble’s Experiment Shop.
However, Samples aren’t the only reason to hunt them.
Dr. Scramble’s drones can also drop Drone Parts. You’ll need three of these, alongside two hidden parts found around the map, to repair and open the Stolen Experiment Vault.
The Vault itself is hidden inside Nibbles’ secret hideout, which you’ll need to locate first.
Where to find Nibbles’ hideout Nibbles, also known as Experiment #013, is hiding from Dr. Scramble in a secret cave located in the Abyss ocean area.

The Vault is damaged and can’t be opened right away. You’ll first need to recover five missing parts scattered throughout the event and map.
Already have one part – 4 more to go Where to find all the Vault Parts To repair the Stolen Experiment Vault, you’ll need to collect five parts.
Two are hidden in specific locations around the map, while the remaining three can drop from Dr. Scramble’s drones.
Vault Part #1 – Prehistoric Area
Head into the Prehistoric Area – the missing Vault Part is hidden behind the T-Rex. Walk up to the part and collect it. Your Vault progress should then update accordingly.
Hopefully T-Rexes don’t bite in their sleep Vault Part #2 – Volcano You can find the second hidden part in the Volcano area. Its exact position may vary, so check both above and inside the volcano if you don’t see it immediately.

Collecting this part gives you both of the map-based parts required for the Vault.
Vault parts #3-5 – Dr. Scramble’s drones The remaining three Vault Parts come from Dr. Scramble’s drones.
Unlike the two parts hidden around the map, these are chance-based drops, so simply defeating three drones doesn’t necessarily guarantee all three parts.
Participate in the Dr. Scramble Event every 30 minutes and destroy as many drones as possible until you’ve collected all 3 drone parts.

Once you’ve collected all five parts, return to Nibbles’ hideout in the Abyss and interact with the Stolen Experiment Vault.
Completing the Vault rewards you with the Scrambler.
The Scrambler appears to function as a special weapon, similar to the bat Dr. Scramble’s Experiment Shop Destroying Dr. Scramble’s drones also rewards you with Samples, which you can spend at Dr. Scramble’s Experiment Shop.

A new mutation consumable introduced in update 5.
Experiment #001:
A new limited Experiment Egg.
Nibbles #013:
An Experiment Egg based on Nibbles.
2x Cash Booster.
1.25x Speed Booster.
2x Treadmill Booster.
The Experiment Shop contains the
Scrambled mutation, Experiment Eggs, and several temporary boosters.
