Mutations apply a constant multiplier to the amount calculated from the pet’s weight.

Regular mutations like Silver, Golden, and Rainbow can appear when a pet hatches, while the best mutation, Spirit Bloom, offers a 3x multiplier and is only available through the Sakura Incubator.

How to get mutations in Steal an Egg There are several ways to obtain mutated pets in Steal an Egg:

Hatch mutated eggs.

Fuse pets with existing mutations.

Participate in Admin Abuse events.

Use the Sakura Incubator.

Obtain a Parasyte Egg.

Apply Rift Boss mutation consumables.

Apply Srambled mutation consumables.

Hatch eggs for regular mutations

Regular mutations, including Silver, Golden, and Rainbow, can appear when a pet hatches. If an egg has a different appearance, such as a rainbow/golden hue, it can indicate that the pet will hatch with a guaranteed mutation.

Fuse pets with the same mutation

If you have three pets with the same mutation, you can fuse them together. The resulting pet keeps the mutation and has a chance to become larger after hatching. Since mutations and pet weight are separate factors, the increased size can further increase its Money/s.

Participate in Admin Abuse

You can also get Silver, Golden, and Rainbow mutations during Admin Abuse events on Saturdays. These events offer additional chances to get mutated eggs outside of regular hatching.

Use the Sakura Incubator for Bloom and Spirit Bloom

The Incubator is used to obtain the two Sakura-themed mutations:

Bloom – 1.5x multiplier Spirit Bloom – 3x multiplier Unlike regular mutations, which have a chance to appear naturally when a pet hatches, these mutations are obtained by placing an egg in the Sakura Incubator.

NOTE:

You can place an egg with any regular mutation into the Sakura Incubator and get that mutation alongside Bloom or Spirit Bloom.

Obtain a Parasite Egg

During the Hungry Frog event, collect infected eggs from the map and feed them to Hungry Frog. After feeding it 5 infected eggs, Hungry Frog has a 1.5% chance to drop a Parasite Egg.

Apply Rift Boss mutation consumables

During the Rift Boss event, defeat the Overlord and use the Boss Tokens you collect to purchase mutation consumables from the Boss Shop. Each consumable gives an egg a 10% chance to hatch with Fractured mutation.

Apply Srambled mutation consumables

During the Dr. Scramble event, defeat his drones and collect Samples to purchase Scrambled Mutation consumables from the Experiment Shop. Each consumable gives an egg a 10% chance to hatch with the Scrambled mutation.

Scrambled mutation consumables cost more than Fractured, but you’ll still manage to get 4-5 in a single run How to unlock the Sakura Incubator To unlock the Sakura Incubator, you first need to obtain a specific pet and use it to activate the machine:

Get a Crane – Obtain the Epic Crane from an egg in the Cherry Blossom Zone.

Bring the Crane to the Incubator – Place the Crane into the Sakura Incubator to unlock it.

Unlock the Incubator permanently – The Crane is consumed during the process, but the Sakura Incubator remains permanently unlocked afterward.

Unlocking the Sakura Incubator with a hatched Crane How to get Sakura Crystals Sakura Crystals come from Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees during the Great Bloom event.

The event occurs every 30 minutes and lasts for about three minutes.

Once you have enough Sakura Crystals, you can use them to charge the Sakura Incubator before placing an egg inside for mutation.
